Hayley is an American performer and actress. People are most familiar with her as Erica Goldberg in the comedy TV series 'The Goldbergs'. But she is primarily musician. Music, according to her, is the very first thing she loves. She began playing with it when she was nine years old. At the age of 12 the music she was playing took on a serious nature and she began professional training. When she was 13 when she began writing herself songs. The album that she first released didn't come out until fourteen years later. It has been non-stop since then. Orrantia was born in the USA but has Hispanic origins. She's proud of the existence of Hispanic origins, although she was raised in English only and never lived in Mexico. Her aim is to preserve the culture by writing Spanish songs, and also learning the Spanish language. A song she has created is called "Hasta Verte," a song she recorded in Spanish. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of the X Factor when she uploaded a YouTube audition video. The judge gave her an impressive four "yes" votes of the judge in the live stage in Seattle. Although she originally auditioned on her own in "Hollywood Week", she and three other female vocalists were placed in groups for the remaining part of the auditions. The group was eliminated at the fifth week of live show.
