Luciana Paoluzzi and Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the daughter of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) and Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress of Benito Mussolini). It is not known if she had having siblings. Luciana studied at a local school before matriculating at the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two females in the class. Following two years of modeling she landed a role in Three Coins in the Fountain. The film was her debut. Brett Halsey, an actor himself, was her very first spouse. Following their marriage in 1960, the couple produced an ensemble film called Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana was given custody of the film when the couple broke up a few years after Charles had been born. Luciana and Tony Athony had a relationship between 1962-1970. Tony Athony played an actor and producer inspired by Luciana's contribution to the movie Green Slime. Based on his work, he created and wrote the Spaghetti Western hybrid that became well-known.
