Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, singer and performer well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Following that, she performed on Broadway in a variety of performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it famous at the National Theatre. In 1957, she released her debut music album called It's time for Tina. Louise first appeared in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden, in God's Small Acre a 1957 drama film. This film became an enormous success and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. When she was in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships and friendship with Lee Strasberg. Her next memorable role came through in 1964 when she signed with CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway television and Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious in contrast to her glamour-doll image had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she was also a prominent director on popular TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 29th August in 1965. The family relocated to Toronto at the age of three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood there and her adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
